    Our Dream

    Wednesday, September 5, 2007, 01:30 PM [General]

Our dream for the Solunari Temple is to have a place for Pagans to go and be see safe. To share knowledge and experiences with each other and to teach others about us.

When we are able to get a building we will have separate rooms for solitaires or small covens to do rituals, if for some reason they are unable to do them where they live. We are also hoping to have a cleansing room to cleanse ones body if need be before a ritual.

We want to have a library filled with knowledge about different religions around the world as well as our own. not just regular books but magazines, videos and so on to aid it peoples search of knowledge.

We want to have a large room for larger covens to use or to hold important ceremonies such as handfastings in case it is raining outside, as well as hold meetings for the Pagan community and decide on whether we should hold festivals or Pagan Pride Days and at what times.

We want to have classes to help those who are knew to the craft and to help inform those who have been misinformed about our faith. To teach and make the public aware that we are not evil, that we are peaceful people.

We also want to have a garden closed off for rituals as well. It will contain places for rituals, as well as relaxing areas just to sit and enjoy the beauty of nature. Also if we are unable to have a green house we will grow herbs back here.

There are other rooms that we would like to have in the building when we get it. It all depends on how much space we have, but those are the main things we want. It is a dream worth dreaming, but better yet a dream worth striving for.

    The Solunari Temple

    Tuesday, February 13, 2007, 09:44 AM [General]

The Solunari Temple was an idea that started in 2005 and became a full fledge plan in January of 2006.

    Our vision:
To be a place of Pagan learning & growth for Witches, Pagans, Wiccans or Heathens, and all people on all spiritual paths. Solunari Temple will foster Pagan pride through education, activism, charity and community. Our doors will always remain open to anyone wishing to learn.

    Our purpose is to:
    - SERVE THE GODDESS, GOD & EARTH
through worship, prayer and dedication to our families, our craft, our spirituality and nature.
    - SERVE EACH OTHER
by mutual care & support, to encourage everyone to reach their potential and provide resources to do so.
    - SERVE THE COMMUNITY
by making known the truth about Paganism and to end the misconceptions about Paganism and witchcraft through education and good deeds.

We recognize that everyone has his or her own set of inherent beliefs. We do not teach pathways, but offer guidance and resources to learn, worship and practice. We advocate the rights of all Pagans and work tirelessly to end misconceptions and stereotypes about Paganism. We provide the opportunity for Pagans and individuals of diverse faiths to network and exchange information with others of and about their beliefs.
